Business decisions made on low bidder rarely deliver to their expectations. The same can be said with safety: activities for the sake of checking a box does not make for a productive safety process. But the distinction between simple and low bidder needs to be made. Making a safety process simple to the user can be a complex endeavor, yet this exercise results in greater acceptance and usability by the safety customer: safety becomes part of the norm.
